Sri Rai Bahadur Multanimal Modi, a renowned Philanthropist and educatienist founded the college in the year 1957. The College began with a strength of hundred students enrolled in the faculties of humanities, commerce and science. But the deeply rooted devotion in the Modi family towards the cause of education continued to manifest itself in the form of varied educational institutes. Under the guidance and leadership of Dr. Kedar Nath Modi, a number of schools, engineering and pharmacy colleges as well as institutes of management were set up in Modinagar. Educational efforts of Dr. K.N. Modi were seconded by his spouse, Smt. Ginni Modi. A Perfect blend of Indian culture and modern, progressive outlook, Smt. Ginni Devi Modi always took a keen intrest in educational institutes of the Modi Family. |
